Fresno sits in the San Joaquin Valley, where orchard rows meet city streets, summer heat lingers, and winter tule fog can make a familiar drive feel different. We started Fresno News Online because this meeting of agriculture and city life gives us a place to cover in its own terms. From the produce grown nearby to the arts and gathering places of the Tower District, we want our work to sound and feel like Fresno.
