LARGO, Fla., June 26 (Oh Yippee) — A Largo, Florida, tattoo shop said it will refuse service to active-duty military members and veterans after a social media post called the military “a bunch of war criminals” and accused law enforcement of killing babies and unarmed people.
Revival Tattoo Collective made the June 23 post, according to Fox News’ reporting on the business’s own message. The post said, “Once again for the slow ones the military. Pretty simple if you are ex military or currently serving just don’t come to the shop. You will be turned away.”
It also said, “My opinion is that the military is a bunch of war criminals and law enforcement kills babies and unarmed citizens in the street.”
The same post added, “If you don’t like my opinion cool, but you’re not going to change it.”
In a statement to Fox News Digital, a spokesperson for the shop said, “Yeah I’m booked up I can’t take any clients military or civilian. Thanks for your interest on my opinion.”
Fox News identified the business’s founder as Brady Martinson, citing the shop website. The reporting did not show any formal response from military groups, law enforcement agencies or local regulators.
The post drew backlash as the business publicly barred a class of customers tied to the military and veterans community, but the reporting did not quantify any financial impact on the shop.
