WASHINGTON, July 12 (DC Times Online) — Democratic strategist James Carville on Friday blasted “far-left” and “insurgent” Democrats in a Politicon video, warning that their recent successes could push the party toward a defeat similar to 2016.
“These people are so f—ing stupid I don’t know what to say about it,” Carville said, adding, “You are part of the problem because you’re a f—ing idiot!”
Carville said Democrats should not “fall for the allure of false prophets” and argued, “It’s not both parties’ faults!” He said some activists are “running against both parties” and singled out Michigan candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
He also pointed to recent wins by Brad Lander, Darializa Avila Chevalier and Melat Kiros as part of the argument, saying the party risks repeating the mistakes that helped Donald Trump win the White House in 2016.
